About Tim Hartley
Tim Hartley started his hairdressing career in the late 1970s in Manchester, becoming qualified as a barber at Sassoon’s. By 1981 Tim Hartley had moved into womens’ hairdressing and was already turning heads with his cuts. His work was recognised by mentor and friend Sassoon Creative Director Christopher Brooker and Tim was soon made a regional art director. Tim’s career at Vidal Sassoon spanned over 30 years, culminating in his renowned role as International Creative Director.
Tim Hartley has been inspiring generations of young hairdressers with his passionate approach to hair, cutting edge aesthetic and technical expertise for over 30 years.
