About Carolyn Newman
Carolyn Newman is a renowned international colour expert with over 30 years’ experience, educating hairdressers around the globe with her latest colouring techniques. Combining superb technical and creative skills to create the ultimate colourist. Known for her inspiring contemporary colour and enthusiastic presentation style, her passion is to always give a personalised and beautiful colour for every client. Carolyn Newman has had a varied and exciting career working for 25 years with Charles Worthington Salons. Her roles included Colour Education and Operations Director and has experience in all areas of the salon business. She has recently launched Carolyn Newman Colour & Education Consultancy, passing on her colour knowledge, techniques, skills and experience to the worldwide hairdressing industry and next generation of talent.
Carolyn is very passionate about colour and has taught her colour courses, educational seminars and presented hair shows all over the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe, United States of America, Canada, Australia, South America, South Africa and Asia. Her colour images, makeovers, quotes and style tips feature regularly in glossy magazines, online and newspapers including Vogue, Marie Claire, Tatler, Hello, Cosmopolitan, Instyle, Glamour, Time Out and the Evening Standard as well as trade publications such as Creative Head, Tribute Magazine and Hairdressers Journal International.
