About Chapter Education
One half of Chapter Education is Paddy Corrigan. Paddy began his career as an apprentice hairdresser for Peter Mark in 2009 where he studied the art of hairdressing. Over time Paddy found his niche in cutting men's hair and enjoyed the blending of contemporary hairdressing with modern barbering.
He opened his own hair salon, Area 9, in 2013 and focused on building his brand through hard work, along with his passion for creative learning and wanted to encourage others to develop their skills. His online presence and popularity in the barbering industry led to barbers contacting him about teaching their staff. Paddy has facilitated a number of educational workshops in barbershops, hairdressing salons and on the stages of major barbering events in Ireland and throughout Europe.
Paddy believes that everybody has their own ability to grow as a creative professional. “It begins by laying a foundation with the fundamental techniques and guidelines. With your foundation set and using the guidelines, you will unlock your creativity and the possibilities are endless.”
The other half of Chapter Education is Warren Flynn, owner of the award winning salon, The Dublin Barber. As a youngster Warren began cutting the hair of friends and family, which was the inspiration for him to pursue a career in barbering. Now in the tenth year, his career has gone from strength to strength as an award winning barber.
Warren has a passion for education, for both self improvement and helping others, he believes knowledge should be shared and that every person has a creative workflow to be encouraged. Warren has delivered in-salon educational workshops throughout Ireland and demonstrated at various hairdressing and barbering events. Warren says, “I love sharing ideas and knowledge with people who are open to learning contemporary skills for both hairdressing and modern barbering.”
